Right, after a looooong break, I'm *finally* able to think about getting a new camera *crowd cheers* ;)

Right now I'm thinking of the Nikon D40, as it's reviews are very good, matched with pretty much the best price for a dSLR at the moment. Not used an SLR before, and the D40 looks like a good step into it.

Anyone got any thoughts?
