Apartment block, North Point, Hong Kong Island. March 2005.
This shot is typical of the living spaces of most Hong Kong residents. The total lack of space in the city has driven the skyline ever upwards in an effort to ease the crushing lack of housing. It's housing on an industrial scale, and to someone like myself, used to green fields and small towns, it is difficult to comprehend. Canon A80 |

Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization. Open to all mediums. Sadly, this is the only shot of it's type I have, and due to a hard-drive screwup and a loss of a camera, it's unlikely that there'll be many more in the near future
I have some friends from HK and instead of saying "you live in your house with your family?" they say "you live in your apt with your family?", when I told them I live in a house (I'm from Mexico) they said "so you must be rich" haha.
Still, amazing...
